It has been quite a while since my last post! I have been so tired with this pregnancy that it has been hard to get up the motivation to do much of anything. I thought when summer came around and I wasn’t working full-time that I would get some crocheting done, but I haven’t. I decided a few months ago to just take a break until the baby is born. I did that with my second son and got back into crocheting during maternity leave, which is what I expect will happen again. Not to mention I live in the South and it is stinkin’ HOT!! I’ve never been this pregnant in the summer before since I have 2 December babies. It’s pretty miserable. But I did do some work before I decided to take a break and this project was one of them.
The Crochet Accent Tee from Crochet World’s August issue is the first type of edging/accent project I have ever done and I love it. Definitely makes me want to do more projects like this – maybe since it’s summer I can find the motivation to do a tank top accent? Hopefully but we’ll see. If you haven’t already, check out the rest of the August issue here.
Even though I’m not crocheting much, I am still available to answer questions about any of my patterns. You can comment on this site or contact me through Ravelry. I check both pretty often and you will get a response as soon as I can. Until then, happy crocheting!
